Music and Emotions |
We are looking for healthy volunteers from a wide age range with a wide range of music preferences who are willing to participate in a study to measure the emotional responses to short musical excerpts. |
Aphasia Recovery |
If you had a stroke and, as a result, no longer able to speak, you may qualify to receive "Melodic Intonation Therapy", a technique that has been recognized by the American Academy of Neurology as an effective method for helping stroke victims recover their language ability. |
Motor Stroke Recovery |
We are seeing stroke patients with incomplete recovery to study the mechanisms and effects of non-invasive and non-harmful brain stimulation on stroke recovery using Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (TDCS). Tests will include brain imaging and various behavioral motor tests. |
Effects of Electrical Brain Stimulation on Motor Performance, Sensory Perception, and Multimodal Cognition |
We are looking for healthy volunteers who are willing to participate in exciting new studies examining the effects of non-invasive and non-harmful electrical brain stimulation excerpts on mtor performance, sensory perception, and multimodal cognition. |
